Course A – Title: So, Now You are a Christian – What Next? In this course participants will have the opportunity to discuss God’s spiritual gifting in support of a Missional Mindset. It stands to reason that Spiritual gifts must be important to the Spirit of God. For instance, “God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues” (1 Cor 12:28). To support the mission of God, The Spirit inspired write of scriptures, allotted patience to face great adversity and loss, gave knowledge to understand all mysteries and a heart to care - “But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him.” Luke 10:25-37 NIV) Knowing how your spiritual gift(s) are important today will help in developing a Missional Mindset for individual and family ministry. Course B – Focusing the Missional Eye Many times in our daily lives, we are often oblivious to the concerns of others and plight of the world around us. Jesus calls his disciples to be both “wise as serpents, and innocent as doves.” We need to be ever present and aware of the world around us and the ways we can be Christ in the world. This course will explore the ways that we as disciples can be better sensitized to the needs around us. With those needs in our “eye” we can move toward addressing those needs.

I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel...” (1 Cor 9:19-24 NIV). Here Paul exemplifies qualities of leadership needed for a Missional Mindset.
