Church Office/Administration- Production of 2008 Annual Report
- Continue to improve office operations to provide administrative support to the Senior Pastor and ministerial staff as well the ministries of Mt. Olive; to include training for administrative staff
- Design of new Church stationery and other communication tools to incorporate Church Vision Statement
- Hold Child Safety training for individuals interested in working with youth; re-certify all individuals currently working with youth and updating Child Safety Protection program
Technology Ministry- Continue to offer innovative learning formats in response to common membership support questions, as well as feedback from the Envisioning Session.
- Continue efforts to bridge the digital divide within our church family and community.
- Develop, propose and introduce church-wide computer technology guidelines to bring uniformity and structure with all aspects of the Church vision.
- Offer Teen Technology Seminar for high school and college-aged students to enhance career options and readiness for the workforce and learning success.
- Update and improve functionality of Church Web Site
- Continue replacement of outdated computer hardware, equipment and operating systems. This will provide an adequate atmosphere for providing an effective computer literacy training program

Church Office/Administration- Produced and distributed the 2007 Annual Report
- Assisted ministries in the development of programs and bulletins for special services
- Scheduled all ministry activities and coordinated use of church facilities with responsible ministries and staff.
- Participated in training for Ministry Heads on the ways the Church Office can assist them in carrying out their duties including the proper way to schedule and plan Church events.
- Scheduled and held two child safety protection training sessions providing training and background clearances for members interested in working with youth.
- Continued as Mt. Olive’s representative on the Washington Boulevard/Columbia Pike Bridget and Interchange working Group
- Attended Network of Church Administrators Conference receiving practical resources for church operations and opportunities to meet and share with Administrators of other church in the metropolitan DC area and vendors that provide services to local churches.
Technology Ministry- Continue efforts to bridge the digital divide within our church family and community by providing computer training for seniors and others on Microsoft Office software programs
- Introduced GO GREEN courses to leverage what technology can do in an effective way for the church ministries and operations.
- Replaced computers in the Technology Lab as part of ongoing efforts to bring uniformity and structure to all technology within the Church
- Continued improvement of the New Mt. Olive Baptist Church Website
- Assisted Vacation Bible School with the use of computer driven training modules for bible school students
Media Ministry- Provided audio and video support when requested for ministry activities and services including weddings and funerals held at Mt. Olive
- Provided audio support for quarterly church meetings and audio recording of all church meetings for Church Clerk
- Sent audio tapes of weekly Sunday services to sick and shut-in members and members who are currently living out of the immediate area
- Provided inspirational material for Girl Scouts' Mother/Daughter tea
- Installed and initiated production of Sunday services on CD
- Provided in-house training session on CD recording by Phoenixx Systems
- Participated with 41-60 Something Ministry in Angel Tree Project
PowerChurch Administration- Delivered and Distributed the Church Pictorial Directory and Resource Guide
- Implemented use of automated Phone tree service to alert members of critical information
- Provided announcements and notices to members of upcoming events and important church functions via mobcnotices e-mail distribution
- Updated membership data base to fully populate the membership database module by conducting a full profile update, including emergency contact information, for the entire congregation
