MOBC 2021 Year-End Contribution Guidelines
MOBC Year-End Contribution Guidelines & Contribution Statement Distribution
As we approach the end of 2021, it’s time to begin thinking about year-end contributions. We would like to provide you with established guidelines to ensure that your contributions are credited according to your intentions/designations.
Please note the guidelines below for receiving credit for 2021 contributions:
BY MAIL: Any contributions received in the mail postmarked December 31st or before will be posted to the contribution records for the current year. Checks dated December 31st or before and received by mail in a properly postmarked envelope will be credited to the current year.
BY CHURCH MAIL SLOT: Contributions (cash or checks) received in the mail slot or hand-delivered to the church office or Trustee office by December 31st will be credited to the current year. Any contributions hand-delivered to the church mail slot, church office or Trustee office after December 31st, will be posted to 2022 Contributions.
BY ONLINE TRANSACTION: Contributions made through our website, Givelify, Text, or through your bank’s online bill pay service will be credited to your contribution record for the current year, provided the transaction is dated no later than December 31st.
BY CASH/CHECKS: Cash and check contributions must be received by the church on or before December 31st.
Distribution of 2021 Contribution Statements
Pick-up: On Sunday, January 23, 2022, the Finance Team will distribute 2021 Contribution Statements at the church. Individuals will be able to pick up their statements from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.
